🔬 Gap Analysis vs WoRMS (Parastacidae · Cambaridae · Astacidae · Cambaroididae)

Compares WoC records with the complete accepted taxonomy on WoRMS. Identifies species that are missing entirely from WoC, and species that are present but have no type locality record. Results include WoRMS citations (type-species originals) that can be sent to check-IN as draft submissions.

This takes ~30–60s (live WoRMS fetch).

🧹 Duplicate Sanitizer cleanup of suspect duplicate records

Detects and merges suspect duplicate occurrences. Tier 1 = identical NCBI accession, or identical coords + year + DOI (auto-mergeable with confidence). Tier 2 = same year, coordinates within 100m (needs human review). Records with Claim_extinction are excluded — never merged.
⚠ Merges modify records — they are reversible per cluster. Mirror records remain in DB but are intended to be hidden from public displays (filter not yet wired).

Type at least one letter for autocomplete, or pick "All species" to scan the whole DB and see which species need attention.

Tier 2 clusters marked for review. Confirm merges definitive (records → Recycle Bin) or cancel (no changes).
