🧬 Taxonomic Sanitizer

Audit species names against WoRMS. Detect synonyms, autorities, fix taxonomy across all records.

🧽 DB Cleanup

Strip invalid XML control characters (OCR artefacts), fill missing Year_of_record, and normalise non-canonical Country values (e.g. España → Spain). Scan first, then confirm to apply.

🔍 Audit DB

Deep database inspection. Per-species profile: totals, origins, type locality, NCBI sequences, pathogens, contributors, bibliography.

📦 Full DB Export

Export the complete records table as WoC template Excel, ready for cheCkOVER. 2-step approval with a co-admin (separation of duties).

🗑 Recycle Bin

Records removed from the main DB by the Sanitizer (duplicate merges). View what was removed, inspect side-by-side with primary on a map, restore individually, or purge permanently.
